Looking to compare Capify with other UK funding providers?
Capify has funded UK businesses since 2008 and publishes a rule few lenders state so plainly: it refinances a competitor facility only once more than half of it is repaid. Criteria like that decide cases long before an offer does, and this page sets out where Capify and five other lenders on our panel sit on them, as read on 9 September 2026.
Card-based funding is underwritten on takings rather than accounts, which changes which criteria bite. On our panel at September 2026, 24 unsecured lenders accept defaults or judgments older than 24 months against 8 for repeated recent ones, and 39 will proceed where the guaranteeing director is not a homeowner. Those three numbers explain more outcomes than a credit score does.
Capify publishes one condition worth knowing before you approach anyone: it will refinance a competitor facility only once more than half of that facility is repaid, and it settles the other lender rather than running alongside them. That is the sort of rule that decides sequencing. If you already carry an advance, where you are in repaying it may decide which lender can look at you next.
The second thing card-based funding does differently is where it looks. An advance is sized on takings a processor can evidence, so a business with a thin credit file and steady card volume often gets further here than at a bank, while a business with strong accounts and mostly bank transfers gets further at the bank. Neither is a better lender. They are reading different documents.
Which of them will look at your case at all is the first question, and how each one collects repayment against your own receipts is the second. We check the first before anything is submitted, and the offers answer the second. Every lender makes its own decision.

The range and speed columns are drawn from the same profile data as our lender pages, checked on 7 September 2026, so they match wherever they appear; Fleximize sits outside that data, so its two figures were read on fleximize.com on 9 September 2026. Floors are printed only where the lender's own site states one, read 9 September 2026. None of it is an offer, and each lender decides its own case.

Who is behind Capify
The footer of capify.co.uk licenses the Capify trade mark to United Kapital Limited, company 06575165, incorporated 24 April 2008 at Hamilton House in Altrincham, and to company 10183728, which Companies House lists as Capify Limited, incorporated 17 May 2016; both records were read on 8 September 2026. Capify's own site says it has funded UK businesses since 2008, and on 9 September 2026 the products it lists run from unsecured and secured loans through cash flow loans, bridging, commercial mortgages and asset finance to a supplier invoice payment facility repaid over 30, 60 or 90 days.
Lending to a limited company is not a regulated credit agreement, so the terms that govern a Capify facility are the agreement and the personal guarantee inside it, which Capify publishes is required on every product, usually from the majority shareholder or a combination of shareholders. Any firm's entry on the Financial Services Register can be read at register.fca.org.uk.

Every criterion on this page was read on the lender's own site on the date given beside it, and the panel counts come from our own September 2026 lender pull. A criterion is the lender's published position on that date, not an offer, and any of them can change without notice.

Frequently asked questions
What other providers can I compare alongside Capify?▼
YouLend, 365 Finance, iwoca, Funding Circle and Fleximize sit beside Capify on our panel. YouLend advances up to £2,000,000 repaid from daily card takings; 365 Finance writes a card-split advance of £10,000 to £500,000 from six months of trading; iwoca runs a facility of £1,000 to £1,000,000 held for up to five years; Funding Circle a fixed-term loan of £10,000 to £750,000 over six months to six years; and Fleximize its Flexiloan of £10,000 to £500,000 unsecured over 3 to 60 months. All read on the lenders’ own sites on 9 September 2026.
What does Capify lend, and to whom?▼
Capify’s direct site on 9 September 2026 lists unsecured loans of £10,000 to £3,000,000 and secured loans of £50,000 to £3,000,000, repaid in fixed daily or weekly instalments over 3 to 24 months, for registered UK businesses with 12 months of trading and monthly turnover of £10,000. A personal guarantee is required on every product, usually from the majority shareholder or a combination of shareholders. It also lists cash flow loans, bridging, commercial mortgages, asset finance and a supplier invoice payment facility repaid over 30, 60 or 90 days.
How is Capify different from iwoca?▼
Both are repaid on a schedule; the differences are term and structure. Capify’s loans of £10,000 to £3,000,000 are repaid in fixed daily or weekly instalments over 3 to 24 months. iwoca’s Flexi-Loan is a facility of £1,000 to £1,000,000 held for up to five years, repaid weekly or monthly, that can be drawn again once a third of a 12-month loan is repaid. Capify’s card-split advance, repaid as a share of daily takings, appears on its broker page at up to £500,000. Cash flow decides which pattern a business can carry.
Does comparing lenders affect my credit score?▼
Enquiring does not affect your credit score. A search on your file is run by a lender only when you proceed with an application to it, with your consent, and by then the case has already been matched against that lender’s published criteria. Capify states that it pulls its own credit check only when it is ready to submit the application.
Why compare through CapExpand instead of going to Capify directly?▼
You can apply to Capify directly. Comparing through us means one enquiry is matched against Capify and the rest of the panel on their published criteria, and the offers that come back are set side by side for you to choose between. CapExpand is a credit broker, not a lender. If a deal completes the lender pays us; nothing is charged to you.
How many alternatives can CapExpand actually access?▼
Our unsecured panel currently holds 55 lenders, part of 200+ lenders across all products, and the full roster is published on our lender directory at capexpand.com/business-funding/lenders. One enquiry is checked against the lot; we approach only the lenders whose criteria you fit, which protects your credit file. Figures checked September 2026 and panel composition changes over time.
Who is behind Capify?▼
Capify is a trading name licensed to United Kapital Limited (06575165), incorporated 24 April 2008, and to Capify Limited (10183728), incorporated 17 May 2016, both read at Companies House on 8 September 2026. Capify says it has funded UK businesses since 2008. Lending to a limited company sits outside the regulated credit regime, and any firm’s entry on the Financial Services Register can be read at register.fca.org.uk.
How is a Capify loan repaid?▼
In fixed daily or weekly instalments over 3 to 24 months on the small business and cash flow loans (capify.co.uk, 9 September 2026), so the amount leaving the account does not move with trade. The supplier invoice payment facility is repaid over 30, 60 or 90 days on the same pattern. The card-split advance, repaid as a percentage of daily card takings, is described on Capify’s broker page dated 17 August 2026 at up to £500,000. Capify refinances a competitor facility only once more than half of it is repaid, and settles that lender rather than running alongside it.
“Alex called me back the same afternoon and explained what the repayments would look like. We had the money in three days.”
