Every contact detail on this page comes from Dojo's own terms and conditions, version 1.6, or from a page Dojo itself runs, checked August 2026 - not from directories or forum posts, where numbers age badly and lookalike "connection services" charge for a call that should be free. If a detail here ever disagrees with dojo.tech, trust dojo.tech, and tell us.

Before you call: two checks that answer most calls
- Machine not taking payments? Check status.dojo.tech for an outage, then the connection at the till. The full sequence is on Dojo card machine not working.
- Money not arrived? The Dojo app shows every transfer's status, and Dojo's terms allow until the end of the next business day, excluding weekends and bank holidays. What counts as actually late is on how long does Dojo take to pay out.
What to have ready when you get through
Support can only discuss the account with the account holder, so make the call from the business, with the trading name and the details you signed up with. If the problem is a terminal, have it in front of you: the first questions will be what the screen shows and whether other devices on the same WiFi are online. If the problem is a payment or transfer, have the date, the amount and, ideally, the entry from the Dojo app on screen.
Complaints and cancellation are their own routes
A complaint should go in writing, labelled as a complaint, because that starts the formal clock: payment firms have set timescales to respond, and eligible smaller businesses can take an unresolved complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service. The walkthrough is on how to complain about your card machine provider. Cancellation needs at least one month's written notice under Dojo's terms, and costs money inside a minimum term; read Dojo contract and cancellation first so the notice does what you intend.
Common questions
What is the Dojo customer service number?
The number Dojo publishes in its terms and conditions is 0800 044 3550. It is a freephone number. Dojo advertises UK-based support, but its published terms do not state opening hours, so confirm those with Dojo directly rather than relying on any hours a third-party site quotes.
Does Dojo have live chat?
Dojo's published terms list phone, email, the customer portal and post as contact routes, and the Dojo app carries support functions. Whether chat is available, and where, changes with Dojo's product decisions, so check the app or dojo.tech rather than this page for the current answer. We only print the channels Dojo commits to in writing.
How do I check if Dojo is down before calling?
status.dojo.tech is Dojo's public status page, showing live incidents and history. If an outage is listed there, support already knows, and the queue will be long; the status page is also where recovery updates appear first.
How do I complain to Dojo?
Put it in writing, to support@dojo.tech or by post, and say clearly that it is a complaint. Payment services complaints have formal response timescales, and if the final response does not resolve it, eligible smaller businesses can go to the Financial Ombudsman Service. The step-by-step, including who counts as eligible, is on our guide to complaining about a card machine provider.
Can CapExpand contact Dojo for me?
If your terminal came through us, call us on 0333 041 3127 and we will point you at the right route and what to say; setup and switching problems are usually quickest through us. For account-specific issues - refunds, settlement, statements - Dojo will need to speak to the account holder directly, which is a security feature rather than an obstruction.
Came through CapExpand? Start with us
If we set your terminal up, we know the account and the install. Call us and we'll either fix it or get you to the right person at Dojo with the right information.
CapExpand is an authorised Dojo partner and is paid by Dojo when a business signs up through us. That does not change the price you pay.
